UC Banilad student bags award
Another school in Cebu, CIT-U, shared the same accolade
A fourth year Business Administration student from the University of Cebu Banilad campus bagged the Most Outstanding Jose Rizal Model Student of the Philippines 2013 award.
Jezreel Ezer Archival bested 200 other applicants from all over the country.
The awarding was held at the Knights of Rizal International headquarters last Dec. 30.
From the more than 200 applicants, 20 were chosen for the final interview last Dec. 29. The Board of Judges then selected the Top Ten finalists.
The winners received a certificate of recognition, a medal and a trophy.

Archival and three others went to Germany on the first week of November 2012 to represent the Philippines for the Bayer (Global) Young Environmental Envoy.
When he returned to the country a week after, Archival received a letter from the Office of the President informing him that he was one of the delegates picked by the National Youth Commission to go to Japan for a social project.
The 25th Search for Ten Outstanding Jose Rizal Model Students of the Philippines was organized by the Knights of Rizal to recognize college students who best epitomize the Rizalian qualities of academic excellence and leadership in campus and community activities.
Criteria for judging include academic excellence (35%), community involvement (15%), student leadership and co-curricular activities (20%) and final interview (30%).
