GRASSROOTS basketball action at its very best commences this weekend as the ThreeSixty Pharmacy Cup 2013 opens this Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu campus in Canduman, Mandaue City.

Long considered to be the city’s most expansive basketball tournament for the youth, the competition encompasses four age divisions composed of over 40 teams. These are the 10-under, 13-under, 16-under and the 19-under age classes.

The competition is expected to be fierce with the four champions aiming to repeat in their respective divisions. Back to defend their titles are University of San Carlos South Campus (Under 10), Cebu Eastern College (Under 13), University of the Visayas (Under 16) and Adgers Sportswear (Under 19).
