6 die in rain-hit Mindanao – NDRRMC
MANILA, Philippines – Six people were killed due to continuous rains spawned by a tail-end of a cold front in parts of Mindanao, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said Tuesday afternoon.
The fatalities were as follows:
Glenn Custodio of Tagum City, died from electrocution
Boyet Borres of Misamis Oriental, died from drowning
Clyde Selgas of Misamis Oriental, died from drowning
Lord Gallarde of Compostela Valley, died from drowning

Affected persons have also soared to 40,272 families or 150,521 persons in 99 villages in the provinces of Davao region and Soccsksargen, the NDRRMC said in its 3 p.m. report.
Six were also reported injured and four were still missing.
Power outages hit the villages of Kapalong Pasbangan and Mankilam in Tagum City and some barangays (villages) in Braullo E. Dujali.
Fifteen villages in Davao City – Tigatto, Maa, 19-B, 74-A, 5-A, Mandug, Waan, 8-A, 9, 10, 1-A, 2-A, 76-A, Lasang and Calinan – were also placed under state of calamity.
