SIHSN sets alumni homecoming
The Southern Islands Hospital School of Nursing (SIHSN), the first school of nursing in Cebu will hold its 65th annual alumni homecoming 2013 with the theme “SIHSNAAI: Strong and Steadfast through the Years.”
The celebration will start at 8:30 a.m. with a Thanksgiving Mass by Bishop Emilio Bataclan at the Alumni Center on Osmeña Boulevard, Cebu City.
This will be followed by a business meeting where alumni president Gloria Jane Laurente-Matiga from Class 1980 will present the state of affairs and treasurer Dr. Marylou Belarmino-Ong from Class 1974 about the financial standing of the association.
The grand reunion and fellowship will also include an election of new set officers. It will be held on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Casino Español de Cebu along F. Ranudo Street, Cebu City.
The event will highlight this year’s Jubilarians, which include Diamond (Class 1953), Emerald (Class 1958), Golden (Class 1963), Sapphire (Class 1968), Ruby (Class 1973), Coral (Class 1978) and Pearl (Class 1983).
Dr. Carmelita Taneo-Villanobos, the overall chair and public relations officer from Class 1961, will welcome the participants.

Lots of fun, surprises and raffles await all the alumni.
