MANILA, Philippines—Former Senior Superintendent Michael Ray Aquino pleaded not guilty for his alleged involvement in the death of publicist Salvador “Bubby” Dacer and driver Emmanuel Corbito.
Lawyer Napoleon Poblador said the Manila City Regional Trial Court has not yet acted on their motion for reinvestigation, and urged that their client be allowed to stay at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
Aquino arrived in the country last June 26 after staying in the US for about 10 years.
