According to Pasay City Fire department’s SF2 Bernardo Bermejo, the fire started around 6:35 pm on Saturday and reached Task Force Alpha (5th alarm) around 7:20 pm. They sent five initial fire trucks, augmented by fire trucks from Mandaluyong, Makati, Taguig, Parañaque, Muntinlupa and Las Pinas also help stop the raging fire.
The fire was declared under control at 12:44 a.m. Sunday.
Bermejo said no reported injuries or death during the fire which spread in a residential area occupied by informal settlers.
Victims were immediately brought at the nearby barangay hall.
Arsonist investigators are yet to identify the cause of fire, according to Bermejo.
