An official of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines on Saturday issued this call to Sto. Niño devotees converging in Tondo, Manila, for a feast today.
“It becomes artificial when you are only praying fervently during the feast day and then the rest of the year you are not. A real devotee should also be a real Christian every day,” said Fr. Edu Gariguez, executive secretary of the CBCP’s National Secretariat for Social Action.
