Three cities and one municipality in southern Metro Manila will be placed under new acting police chiefs this week, as part of a regular revamp.
The chiefs of police of Taguig, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa and Pateros have been replaced this month after completing their respective two-year tours of duty, Southern Police District director Chief Supt. Benito Estipona said.
In Taguig City, Senior Supt. Tomas Apolinario relinquished his post to Senior Supt. Arthur Felix Asis; in Las Piñas City, Senior Supt. Romulo Sapitula gave way to Senior Supt. Adolfo Samala while in Muntinlupa City, acting police chief Senior Supt. Conrad Capa will be replaced by Senior Supt. Roque Vega.
In Pateros, Senior Supt. Pedrito de los Reyes has taken over Supt. Bogard Arao since December, though Estipona said De los Reyes has been ordered reassigned to Antique.
But Estipona clarified that the replacements are currently only officers-in-charge.
