Did you know: War hero Vicente Lim
The late war hero Vicente Lim was the first Filipino graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point. The World War II general was beheaded by the Japanese in January 1945. His likeness is found, together with those of Jose Abad Santos and Josefa Llanes Escoda, on the P1,000 bill.—Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
