MANILA, Philippines—Another accused in the multi-billion peso Aman Futures pyramiding scheme surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation, an official confirmed Tuesday.
NBI Deputy Director for Regional Operations Virgilio Mendez confirmed that Dhurwin Wenceslao, an official of the ill-fated firm, surrendered to head agent Sixto Comia of the bureau’s Environmental and Wildlife Protection Investigation Division.
Mendez said Wenceslao went to the NBI and said he is ready to face the case filed against him.
Wenceslao is one of the accused on the P43.24-million syndicated estafa case now with the Pagadian City Regional Trial Court.
All in all, he said, there are nine accused already under the NBI custody.
