1,000 Sinulog tickets still available

Only  1,000 color-coded grandstand tickets are left for the Cebu City Sports Center where contingents will perform their dance routines on stage in Sunday’s Sinulog.

Tickets are usually sold out by the weekend, said Sinulog Foundation Inc. executive director Ricky Ballesteros  based on past experience.

Ticket sales in-charge Lerma Binaoro said tickets left for sale are for the green and pink sections which cost P500 each. These seats are located on both far ends of the grandstand.

White  tickets for  P700, near the center, were sold out first by Jan. 4.

The next to run out were P600 yelow tickets . Seats for white and yellow sections are near the center, the best vantage point for watching the stage performances.

The grandstand seats  about 12,000 spectators but only half of it is available to local spectators.

The VIP section on a raised center portion is reserved for government officials, dignitaries and special guests while the red section is reserved for event  sponsors. The blue section is set aside for  balikbayans. /Correspondent Mars G. Alison
