OUT of the 113,168 examinees, a total of 13,412 passed the Career Service examinations administered nationwide by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) on Oct. 21, 2012.
At least 11,449 of the successful examinees took the professional level, while 1,963 took the sub-professional level.
Mark Anthony B. Pelaez from the Bicol Region topped the Professional level with a rating of 87.85. Joining him at the top 10 are Justin Alick M. Cordova (Western Visayas), Ma. Cristina D. Pornillos (National Capital Region), Grace Jude B. Adarne (Northern Mindanao), Venice Marie B. Hulleza (Western Visayas), Kar Lyle A. Constantino (NCR), Ed Mari Cedric C. Cornejo (Bicol), Angelica Anne C. Eligado (NCR), Oliver Gerard M. Gelera (Eastern Visayas) and Ian Derrick W. Almanzor (NCR).
On the other hand, Gerardo R. Biyo from the NCR led the Sub-Professional level with 90.65 rating. Completing the top 10 are Alma L. Pabilane (NCR), Arvin E. Sevilla (Socsargen), Hazel Ann P. Etiong (Zamboanga Peninsula), Miraquel G. De Jesus (NCR), Arnie James C. Mayo (Region IV-A Calabarzon), Bjorn Ronwald L. Reyes (Cordillera Autonomous Region), Clarence G. Dominguez (NCR), Mary Andrielle C. Santos (NCR) and Justin Lawrence J. Tembrevilla (NCR).
Successful examinees are advised to coordinate with the CSC Regional Office about the requirements and procedure in claiming their certificates of eligibility.

Those who failed the exam may secure a copy of their report of rating also through the CSC website.
The CSC announced that the next schedule of Career Service examinations will be on April 14.
Applications may be filed at any CSC regional or field office until Feb. 28.
