Rain parts of PH to continue due to LPA—Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines – Rain in parts of the country will continue due to a low pressure area being monitored by the state weather bureau.
The province of Quezon, the Bicol region and Eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with moderate to heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Friday.
Caraga and the rest of Luzon and Visayas will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the rest of Mindanao will be partly cloudy with brief rainshowers or thunderstorms.
In the early afternoon, Pagasa said thunderstorms were more likely in Metro Manila within 12 hours.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southeast to northeast will prevail over Visayas and from the northeast over Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elswhere, winds will be moderate coming from the northwest to southwest with moderate seas, Pagasa said.
