The Perpetual Succour Hospital (PSH) culminated the year with an outreach activity in its adopted community in Cebu City.
The Social Service Department of PSH organized a Christmas party and gift-giving last Dec. 22 in sitio Camagong, barangay Lahug, Cebu City.
The activity engaged the residents, especially the mothers, in catechism given by Pastoral Care Department head Sister Generose, SPC.
The SPC sisters provided the food for the 150 children.
A short program was hosted by John Beltran where all the children and the mothers showcased their talents.
A raffle draw followed. The winners received gifts from Cebu Daily News, Julie’s Bakeshop, and Dr. Edwards.
Sixty-one mothers received gift packs from PSH, while the 150 children were given gifts by Johnson & Johnson and Best Buy Generics Pharmacy.
The activity was headed by clinical social worker Venches Queque, and Juliet Sanchez.
Being one of the hospital’s adopted communities, the PSH holds free clinic every third Wednesday of the month in Camagong.
