Not again! Stray bullet hits Marikina teen
Nearly two weeks after 7-year-old Stephanie Nicole Ella was hit in the head by a stray bullet in Caloocan City on New Year’s Eve, another girl has become the victim of indiscriminate shooting, this time in Marikina City.
A police report identified the wounded victim as 15-year-old Patricia Garcia.
According to PO3 Agapito Arciete, Garcia and her companions Jericho Ramos and Eric Melesio were passing by Manotoc Drive in Sto. Niño, Marikina City, at 3:30 a.m. Thursday in a van when several gunshots rang out.

Garcia was hit and suddenly slumped in her seat. Her companions immediately rushed her to Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center.
