An all male choral group called the “Cebu Male Singers” of St. Therese Parish from Lahug, Cebu City is one of the top 5 groups in the first Sinulog Choral Elimination at the Plaza Sugbu last Saturday.
“Our group was created to have a common goal to sing, to promote different genres of songs, and the aspects of choral,” said Jandel M. Cabasura, Cebu Male Singers conductor.
Their rendition of the song “ Someone Like You” was a hit with the judges and the crowd.
The choral competition was open to all church-based or choral groups in Cebu. Each group should have a minimum of eight to a maximum of 16 members including their conductors.
Cabasura said the group were made up mostly of teachers, call center agents, and students.
