Army, NPA rebels urged: Keep truce

A tribal leader in the Sierra Madre mountain range in northern Quezon on Thursday appealed to the government and communist rebels to observe a longer ceasefire.

“Let us all give peace a chance to flourish,” said Ramcy Astoveza, an Agta leader and executive director of the Tribal Center for Development Foundation Inc.
