CEBU’S FAST-RISING triathletes are leading the nominations in their respective categories in the 2nd annual SWIMBIKERUN.ph (SBR.ph) Awards.
Justin Liam T. Chiongbian is leading in the Male Youth Triathlete of the Year with 243 votes, Nina Francesca M. Villaba is currently lording it over in the Female Youth Triathlete of the Year with 270 votes and Matteo Guidicelli is leading the Male Rookie of the Year with 363 votes.
The SWIMBIKERUN.ph is the biggest Filipino online multisport community and the annual awards is its way of recognizing the Filipino athletes whose achievements further brought the Philippine multisporting scene to the next level.
The athletes are nominated and voted by the website’s readers. Nomination for the 19 categories started last Dec. 12 and ended last Dec. 17, which is also the starting date for the voting./CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON
