FIRE HITS LABOR OFFICE
THE National Labor Relations Commission in Central Visayas (NLRC-7) said the fire that hit its office Thursday night only caused minimal damage.
No important documents were burned, said Fe Cabigon, NLRC -7 administrative officer.
Cabigon said the documents that were damaged belonged to cases that have already been solved.
NLRC-7 is located on the third floor of Lim’s Brotherhood Foundation Building in Osmeña Boulevard, Cebu City.
A fire broke out about 8 p.m. after a ceiling fan caught fire and fell on a bundle of papers that were taken from a room now occupied by labor arbiters.
