Abra gets reprieve from power cutoff

ABRA–The province of Abra won another reprieve from a scheduled blackout on Thursday.

The Aboitiz Power Renewables Inc. (Apri) postponed the enforcement of its fifth disconnection notice against the Abra Electric Cooperative on the day it was supposed to cut power to the province due to unpaid bills, said Ria Calleja, Apri assistant vice president for corporate branding and communication.
