According to data from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, the 37th Metro Manila Film Festival which ran from Dec. 25, 2011 to Jan. 7, 2012, earned over P636 million. This was around 18 percent higher than the previous film fest’s earnings of P541 million. Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
