If fate would allow it, the coming year would be good for Jeremy Justiniani, who is in the last stage of chemotherapy treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
“After more than three years of leaving the house early in the morning searching for donors and sponsors everywhere, I’m glad that he is on his way to recovery—with God’s help,” Luisa Justiniani, Jeremy’s mother, told the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
She said she was asking for kindness from total strangers once again, this time from Inquirer readers, as she did not want to lose this opportunity to see her youngest child recover completely and return to school next year.
Justiniani said she and her husband, Ricky, who lost his job as a waiter in a hotel in 2010, were trying to raise P72,000 for their son’s radiotherapy, bone marrow and CT scan, all of which would be done at the UST Hospital on Friday.
