Fund-raising running event set Dec. 30

A FUND-RAISING fun run will be held Dec. 30 at the Mactan Export Processing Zone II (MEZ II) for the benefit of the victims of typhoon Pablo.

The race was put up  by veteran race director Joel Baring with the help of the Philippine Air Force and some private sectors from Lapu-Lapu City.

The proceeds of the race will be given to ABS-CBN’s outreach programs for the victim of the said typhoon that hit the country early this month.

Since it is a fund-raising event, Baring said the race won’t give out cash prizes to winners. The race will have 3-kilometer and 6k categories.

Registration fee is pegged at P300. Registration areas are at the RUNNR Ayala Center Cebu and at the Gaisano Grand Mall in Mactan./CORRESPONDENT DALE G. ROSAL
