4 fishermen rescued after boat capsizes off Bataan—Coast Guard

MANILA, Philippines – Four fishermen were rescued after their boat capsized in the waters off Bataan Thursday night, a spokesman of the Philippine Coast Guard said.

Lieutenant Commander Algier Ricafrente said six persons were on board FB Kasandra when it capsized at around 10 p.m.

The four fishermen were rescued by the crew of a passing boat, said Ricafrente, adding that members of the Bataan Coast Guard Station were still searching for two other companions.
