The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority along with the organizers of the 38th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) on Friday announced the route of the traditional Parade of Stars which features floats representing the entries to the annual competition.
The motorcade will run from Manila to Pasay City on Dec. 23 and is expected to take two to three hours.
The floats are coming from Quirino Grandstand at 2 p.m. and will make a left at T.M. Kalaw Street, then proceed to Roxas Boulevard up to Buendia.
From Buendia, the parade turns left at Macapagal Avenue, right at Seaside Boulevard, left at Jose Diokno Boulevard, right at Harbor Drive, before ending at Block 21 within the SM Mall of Asia compound.
Motorists, especially those taking Roxas Boulevard, are advised to use alternative routes.
Southbound motorists coming from T.M. Kalaw can make a left at Mabini Street going straight to FB Harrison. From there, they can make a right turn to Edsa, then turn left to Roxas Boulevard in Pasay.
Those going north coming from Edsa are advised to take Taft Avenue.
The 38th MMFF runs from Dec. 25 to Jan. 8. Jaymee T. Gamil
