BACOLOD CITY—Police on Monday filed charges of double murder and multiple frustrated murder against eight alleged communist guerrillas who had been arrested following an encounter in the village of San Agustin, Isabela town.
Charged were Dandie Tubigon, Whilhelm Lindayao, Christopher Dadles, Randy Lindayao, Joelito Dadles, Roman Lindayao, Dimas Lindayao and Abraham Lindayao, according to Senior Supt. Milko Lirazan, officer in charge of the provincial police.
The eight are now detained at the Isabela police jail. They had been charged with, among others, the killing of two soldiers and wounding of four others during a clash.
