Red Cross releases P17T death claim to beneficiary

A CHECK worth P17,000 was released to the beneficiary of a deceased Red Cross member.

Catalina Pradilla, the grandmother of Jess Clarin Iriel, who died in an accident when he was still registered under the Red Cross Classic Membership program in Mandaue City Central School, received the check last July 12 from the members of the Red Cross Board, namely, Directors Sophia Mancao, Paul Yabao, Norma Tancinco, Alger Pelayo, Erwin Goc-ong, Ma. Evelyn Macapobre, Allan Nicholas Ouano (chairman), Paul Benemerito, Paterno Acabodillo and Tomas Riveral.

A total of P12,000 of the amount was for the accidental death benefit while the remaining P5,000 for burial assistance.
