VERSATILE wingman Paul Lee played without skipping a beat in leading the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters to the semifinals following their 2-1 series win over crowd darlings Ginebra San Miguel in the 2012 PBA Philippine Cup.
For that, Lee brought home the Player of the Week award for the period of Dec. 10 to 16 as he averaged 18.3 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists in three games, including a game-high 25 in the series-clinching 102-89 win over the Kings last Sunday.
Sidelined for four months following a shoulder injury, the former Rookie of the Year showed that he was back and in business as he tied his career-high with 25 points, 12 coming during a decisive 23-0 third quarter-surge that firmly installed Rain or Shine ahead. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
