Aboitiz football resumes today with 20 matches
Twenty matches will be on hand today as the 15th Aboitiz Football Cup resumes at the Aboitiz Sports Field in Subangdaku, Mandaue City.
The University of Cebu (UC) is hoping to notch its first win in the tournament as it faces current category leader University of San Carlos (USC) in the lone Under-23 match.
While the Webmasters have yet to barge into the win column, the Warriors have already tallied four points from of a win and a draw.
The USC girls 17 team, on the other hand, hopes to regain the bracket A lead it lost to Ateneo de Cebu (AdC) as it faces Colegio de la Inmaculada Concepcion (CIC)-Mandaue.
AdC took over the leaderboard over idle USC after a 12-0 routing of Cebu International School last weekend.
CIC-Mandaue, for its part, is looking for a first win after falling short in its first match of the tournament.

The three matches in the boys 14 will see USC-BED going up against Subangdaku FC, Centre for International Education (CIE) facing SJS-Mactan and Hijas de Jesus playing against Canduman.
In the boys 12, Canduman will be facing Warzhockz, DB Razkals versus VEPS, Children of Paradise Montessori School (CPMS) against Bright Minds in Action Learning Village (BMALV) and Holy Infant up against San Roque Football Club (SRFC).
In the players 10, Hijas de Jesus hopes to climb from the cellar by notching a win as it goes up against CIE-A.
Other matches will pit USC-BED against VEPS, CPMS versus BMALV, CIE-B against Dinamo and Holy Infant versus Giuseppe-Gerry’s Grill.
The four matches in the players 8 will have SRFC A hoping to get past Warzhockz, CPMS vying for a win against Canduman, VEPS hoping to get past USC-BED and Springdale up against CIE.
