CIS hosts party for children from Inayawan dumpsite

THE Cebu International School (CIS) hosted its annual Tree of Giving last Dec. 8 for the 120 children aged 8 to 17 years old at the New Life School in Inayawan dumpsite. barangay Inayawan, Cebu City.

The CIS community interacted with the children for the whole morning.

Spearheaded by the CIS Student Council, in coordination with CIS staff volunteers, the Inayawan children enjoyed games of musical chairs, relays, soccer, badminton and Frisbee.

The children were treated to snack and were given apples and gifts before they left the CIS campus.

FEATURED STORIES

The CIS community worked with the Cebu Missionary Foundation for the Tree of Giving to reach out to indigent children.

Now in its fifth year, the Tree of Giving brings together the CIS community and the local community to appreciate the true meaning of Christmas.
