CAMP PACIANO RIZAL—A man turned himself in Thursday and admitted to the rape-killing of a 14-year-old girl, whose body he buried below his apartment in Sta. Rosa City, Laguna, four years ago.
The man, Limuel Completo, 25, surrendered to police with his family at around 5 a.m., city police chief Supt. Ismael Fernandez said.
Completo admitted to the rape and murder in 2007 of Mary Joy Umali, whose skeletal remains were only found last weekend in Barangay Dita, Fernandez said in a phone interview Thursday.
He said Completo first confessed to his mother last Saturday that he raped and killed Umali in May 2007. Maricar Cinco, Inquirer Southern Luzon
