cellphone stolen
An 11-year-old Grade 5 student of the Mandaue City Central School lost her P20,000 Samsung phone to a man inside the school.
The female student said that the man approached her, asked for a piece of paper and ballpen, and send her on an errand to give the note on the paper to somebody on the next building.
But before that the man, whom the student assumed to be a teacher, asked that she leave her cellphone with him.
When she couldn’t find the person, she went back to where the man was but she couldn’t find him and her cellphone. She reported the incident to her teacher, who reported the incident to police.
When asked why she brought a cellphone to school when there’s a Department of Education order barring grade school and secondary school students from bringing cell phones in schools, the victim claimed that it was allowed for emergency use only.
