Another police officer seeks audience with Lacson over 2004 poll fraud

MANILA, Philippines – Another police officer, who has knowledge of the alleged massive cheating in 2004, on Thursday sought an audience with Senator Panfilo Lacson.

“I was told by my staff that there’s another police officer in my office and he wants to show something,” Lacson told reporters before meeting the prospective whistleblower.

Lacson, who was in the hearing of the Senate blue ribbon committee since 9:00 a.m., said it was the officer who sought the meeting with him. “Tungkol din sa [It’s also about] cheating,” said the senator and added he could later refer his visitor to the media.
