Ten people were injured in a six-vehicle collision in Antipolo City Friday.
Case investigator PO1 Ruelito Acuña said initial investigation showed that a Cubao-bound jeepney lost its brakes and hit a motorcycle.
Due to the strong impact, two tricycles, a Hyundai car and another motorcycle also figured in a smash-up along Marcos Highway in Barangay Mayamot at 11 a.m.
Four of those injured were passengers of the jeepney. They were identified as Bodgee Azajar, 12, Joana Roxas, 30, Maria Latosa, 40 and Rouela Francisco, 44.
Jeepney driver Gerald Aduena was also slightly injured.
The other victims were Gerlyn Ogapis, 33, Victorio Bartolome, 58, and Ryan Arca, 28. Two men on board a motorcycle were also injured but they have yet to be identified, Acuña said.
The victims were rushed to Amang Rodriguez Hospital. Rima Granali
