Erasers try to reclaim win touch vs Gems
THE Erase Xfoliant Erasers will try to return to the winning track when they face the Cebuana Lhuillier Gems in the PBA D-League Aspirants Cup today over at the Trinity University of Asia.
The Erasers have lost their last two games by a combined 20 points but will be looking to right the ship today against a similarly-struggling Gems squad.
Erase Xfoliant and Cebuana Lhuillier are tied with Fruitas for sixth to eighth spots with 2-3 (win-loss) records.
Jose Rizal University takes on winless Boracay Rum in the other game scheduled at 2 p.n.
The Erasers rank fifth among the league’s top defensive teams but their 74 points per game average is among the lowest in the conference. Certainly, Nate Matute, Jett Vidal and George Allen will have to pick up their offensive rhythms to help the team get back on the winning track.
The Gems on the other hand, have struggled in their previous five games with their visible lack of chemistry.
