Two women’s attempt to rob a fisherman of his cell phone and pocket money landed them in jail in Malabon Tuesday.

The Malabon police identified the two as Gladys Cruz, 38, and Marianne Cruz, 35, both residents of Barangay Longos, Malabon City.

It was not immediately known if the two were related. Investigation showed that the victim, Edmon Santua, was walking on C4 Road in Longos at 2 a.m. when the two, coming from different directions, approached him.
