Cebu Pacific cancels 86 flights Tuesday

MANILA, Philippines—Cebu Pacific has announced the cancellation of 86 domestic flights on Tuesday as Typhoon “Pablo” (international codename: Bopha) roared closer to the southern Philippines.

Cebu Pacific, in an advisory issued at 8:30 p.m. Monday, said 26 round-trip flights to and from Caticlan were cancelled, 14 in Cagayan de Oro City, 18 in Davao City, 10 in Butuan City, six in General Santos City, four in Dumaguete City and two each in Cotabato City, Dipolog, Pagadian and Surigao.

Cebu Pacific said that affected passengers may call its hotline number (02) 70-20-888 or (032) 230-88-88 for details on their re-accommodation.

“Those affected by cancellations due to bad weather may rebook their flights for travel up to 30 days, or place the value of their booking in a travel fund,” it said.

“CEB hopes for our guests’ understanding as this is beyond the airline’s control.”
