8 injured in 3-vehicle collision on EDSA
MANILA, Philippines—Eight people were injured when three vehicles figured in a collision on EDSA before dawn Monday, police said.
Senior Police Officer 4 Henry Se of Quezon City traffic said the collision transpired along the northbound lane of EDSA-P.Tuazon around 5 a.m., involving two passenger busses and a private vehicle.
Se said initial investigation showed a Santrans bus travelling on the southbound lane when it crossed the center island, hitting a DLTB bus and a Toyota Corolla on the northbound lane.
“The victims sustained minor injuries only, but investigators have yet to get statements from them,” he said.
The area has since been cleared, he said.
