USJ-R students, MCWD unite for tree planting

THE Junior Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers-University of San Jose-Recoletos (JPSME-USJR) chapter, in coordination with the Metropolitan Cebu Water District (MCWD) Employees Union, organized a tree planting activity at D’ Family Park in Talamban, Cebu City.

Sixty-four first to fourth year Josenian mechanical engineering students joined the activity on July 9.

The activity aimed to increase awareness about the environment as well as foster unity within the group.

Breakfast was served for the participants followed by a program where JPSME-USJR chapter representative Amman Blake Valizado expressed his gratitude to the MCWD Employees Union for allowing them to participate in the tree planting activity.
