YYKredit led the winner’s list after topping the Inter-company category of the recent Lapu-Lapu Table Tennis Association (LTTA) tournament held last Nov. 24 to 25 at the Crown Regency Sports and Convention Hall in Lapu-Lapu City.
YYKredit team, composed of Bill Yap, Glenn Rodriguez, Jason Rodriguez and Eduard Godinez, took home the P5,000 top purse for the win.
Placing second was Vonage squad, which received P4,000 while Jo Metta landed at third, getting P3,000.
YYKredit also dominated the open singles division with Glenn Rodriguez bagging the title while his teammate Jason Rodriguez finished third. Jason Uy of Metta placed second.
The winners in the Class B singles category included Roel Camporal (first), Churchill Medalle (second) and Greg Dedolosan (third).
Meanwhile, Jo Halandoon topped the executive category with Handel Yap of Asta Trading and Angelo John Tampo placing second and third, respectively.
The two-day tournament was supported by Donic Philippines, Ginsovit, Vonage, Mactan Electric Company Inc., Santiago Arcade, JSP Top Logistics Inc., Symphonas Enterprises, GRSI, Stream and Trax, Cebu Korean Association Inc., John Eric Enad, Mr. Joemar Berezo and Ms. Beladona Teves Duterte. /pr
