100 families lose home to fire

CAVITE—At least 100 families lost their homes to a fire that razed a community of squatters in Bacoor City, Cavite, on Wednesday.

City fire marshal Senior Insp. Aldrin Salazar said the fire destroyed up to 60 shanties in two villages—Talaba VIII and Niog I.
