Cardinal Tagle arrives in Manila

MANILA, Philippines – Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Tagle, the new Filipino cardinal, arrived in the Philippines on Thursday, media reports said.

Tagle returned to the country after his induction  along with five other non-European prelates as newest “princes” of the  Roman Catholic Church Saturday.

Tagle is the seventh Filipino cardinal installed in the nearly 500-year history of Catholic faith in the Philippines. JM Papag
