RAFI Micro-finance Cebu assembly set for Dec. 1

THE Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) micro-finance program will hold its ninth annual general assembly on Dec. 1 at the Mandaue City Cultural and Sports Complex.

The event, dubbed as “RAFI Micro-finance: Kaabag sa responsableng patigayon alang sa kalamboan,” will gather more than 3,000 women micro-entrepreneurs or nanays from all over the Cebu province.

Micro-finance members and groups who performed well will be recognized.

Activities include a Mass, awarding ceremony, trade fair exhibits, short training lectures, talent showcase and a raffle draw.

There will also be a medical mission by the Eduardo J. Aboitiz Cancer Center (EJACC), offering free medical services to the nanays, such as general medical examination, cervical cancer screening and distribution of vitamins.
