While waiting for his wife, Crisanto parked his motorcycle in front of APO Cement in sitio Tapon.

Police said two men on a motorcycle arrived. The backrider called out the victim before shooting him in the chest and head using a .45 pistol,  PO1 Nilo Daclis, investigator of the Naga City police, said.

The assailants drove off after the attack.

Cabizarez was rushed to the Minglanilla District Hospital but he was declared dead by the attending doctor.

Police recovered two empty caliber .45 shells from the crime scene.

The attack was the third fatal shooting incident reported this week in Naga.

Last Thursday night, Russel Aventajado, a meat dealer, was killed while his two workers were wounded after they were shot by motorcycle-riding assailants in barangay Colon.

The victims were heading home on board a multicab jeep when they were attacked.

Carlito Orocay, 31, and Horlan Enclonar, 26, were wounded in the shooting.

Business rivalry is one of the angles being eyed as possible motives for the killing.

A woman was also fatally shot while he was about to board a passenger bus in barangay Pangdan last Tuesday.

Killed was Margarita Capablanca, 50.  The woman and her son Joel were on their way to a court hearing in Cebu City when they were waylaid by at least three assailants, said police.
