‘Salvage victim’ found in Busay

A MAN believed to have been salvaged was found in barangay Busay, Cebu City, at dawn  yesterday.

The man had gunshot wounds in the body. His hands were tied while his mouth and eyes were covered with a packaging tape.

The victim was believed to be in his 30s and was about five-foot-two in height. He wore a brown short pants and shirt.

The man had a tattoo of “Luna Xoper” and “Ang Pinakasalbahis” in the back and “Ricric Avila” in both arms.

Four empty shells of a .45 pistol, packaging tapes and electrical wires were found near the body.

Couple Arnel Cerio and Rowena Cerio, both flower vendors, were walking along a road in sitio Roosevelt when they found the body at 2:30 a.m.

Police said before the body was found, a multicab was seen speeding away from the area where the dead man was found.
