MANILA, Philippines—The areas of Palawan and Mindanao will have cloudy skies with occasional light to moderate rainshowers or thunderstorms due to an intertropical convergence zone, the state weather bureau said Wednesday.
The northeast monsoon affecting Northern Luzon will bring light rains over Cagayan Valley, Aurora and Quezon, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration also said.
The rest of the country, including Metro Manila, will be partly cloudy with isolated brief rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast to east will prevail over Luzon and Eastern Visayas and coming from the northeast and east over Eastern Mindanao and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast and east with slight to moderate seas, Pagasa said.
