Closed roads, bridges in Region 5—NDRRMC

MANILA, Philippines – Several roads and bridges in Region 5 have been rendered impassable due to flooding and landslides triggered by the continuous heavy rains brought by Tropical Storm “Juaning” (international name: Nock-ten) affecting Luzon, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

In it’s 6 a.m. report, the NDRRMC said that the following roads are still closed to motorists:

Albay 1st DEO

1. Ligao-Tabaco, Sto. Domingo Boundary – Pawwabalading, Malinao not passable

Albay 2nd DEO

1. Daang Maharlika;

b. Culiat Draga Km. 523+200 – Km. 523+600 not passable due to flood

c. Legaspi Punta De Jesus Km. 529+300 – Km. 530+000 not passable due to flood

d. Comun-murado-Peñafrancia Road Km. 517+800 – Km. 518+600, Tagaytay, Camalig not                            passable due to flood

Albay 3rd DEO

1. Legaspi-Punta de Jesus, Km. 529+300 – Km 530+000, Tula-tula leg, not passable due to

flood

2. Talin – Talin Section AWC, Km. 516 – 518 not passable due to landslide
