Tricycle driver gunned down in Quezon City

A 26-year-old tricycle driver was killed for a still undetermined reason on Saturday night by one of two motorcycle riders in Quezon City.

Christopher Rosellio, a resident of Road 9 in Barangay (village) Pagasa, died on the spot due to multiple gunshot wounds in the body, most of them in the back.

Police Officer 2 Alvin Quisumbing of the Quezon City Police District Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit said the shooting took place at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday on Road 13 in the same barangay.

Quisumbing added that a resident in the area had heard gunfire coming from Road 13,  prompting her to look out her window. The witness said she saw an armed man shooting another man who fell to ground.

The shooter then walked away and got on a motorcycle being driven by an accomplice.

Scene of the Crime Operatives personnel said they recovered four spent bullets from a cal. .45 pistol on the street.
