AT LARGE Suspects Efren Talib (left) and a man known only as Aldos, as described by a potential state witness in the Julie Ann Rodelas killing.

MANILA, Philippines—The Quezon City Police District said Friday an additional case of rape would be filed against the two suspects in the Nov. 6 murder of model Julie Ann Rodelas. The suspects are still at large.

In a press conference, Chief Supt. Mario dela Vega said the additional charge will be based on the statement of suspect Jaymar Waradji and the results of an autopsy.

Dela Vega said the findings showed a “deep-healed laceration,” but when asked if the findings indicated that the victim had been raped, the police official replied, “Let the court decide on that, that’s beyond our authority.”
