UP alumni group launches logo making contest

THE University of the Philippines Alumni Association (UPAA) launched a logo design contest for its 100th anniversary in 2013.

Founded in 1913, the UPAA banners the theme “Bagong Siglo, Bagong Sigla,” for its centennial celebration. The logo design should be based on the theme.

The contest is open to all UP System alumni and students. Entries may be in any medium, measuring no bigger than 8.5 in x 11 in; enclosed with the entry sender’s name, course, year graduated or last enrolled in, email address and contact number. Participants may submit more than one entry and may win more than once.

Prizes include P20,000 cash (first place), P10,000 (second place) and P5,000 (third place) and certificates.

Entries must be submitted on or before Nov. 16 to the UPAA office at the Ang Bahay ng Alumni, Magsaysay Avenue, U.P. Diliman Campus, Quezon City or e-mailed to [email protected]. Winners will be notified by phone and e-mail not later than Nov. 30.
